Bosnia and Herzegovina Under-17 national football team gathered in Vogosca today. Coach Sakib Malkocevic and his assistants held a meeting with the players who arrived on time, while the rest should arrive tomorrow to complete the team.
Malkocevic: "Until our departure, we'll be practicing in Vogosca twice a day and mostly work on our tactics. We'll try to maintain a positive atmosphere before the qualifiers. There are boys who were on a break for a while, and as a precaution we invited more players in order to come up with the best 18 for the tournament in Moldova.
The group is difficult, but as always our goal is the Elite Qualifying Round. We followed our opponents, and it certainly won't be easy. We didn't have much time to prepare well, two exhibition games with Italy have shown us that we have a lot of work ahead. It's important to pass the first round, and then we'd have more time to prepare and maybe make some additions to the team. We're all here for the same goal - our staff and players will do their best to qualify for the Elite Qualifying Round."
BiH cadets will be hanging out with the Grassroots event pariticiants in Zenica tomorrow, followed by a training session in Vogosca at 16:00 hours.
