Bosnia and Herzegovina cadet football team performed their last training session at the FFBIH training center in Zenica before going to Georgia for the European Championship Elite Qualifying Round in Tbilisi. Unfortunately, Edis Smajic is injured and won't be able to play.
Assistant coach Damjan Ratkovic: "We did everything we planned and we're ready for the tournament in Tbilisi. Edis Smajic, who is a very important player for this team, hurt his ankle and won't be travelling with us tomorrow. We're familirar with our opponents' game and we know what awaits us there. I think we can win three points in the first match with Georgia, however Russia and Italy are the favorites in the group. We have a good team who can cope with any opponent, and if we get our chance to qualify for the major football event, we'll surely use it."
Our team will depart for Tbilisi tomorrow morning. The first match with Georgia is scheduled for Tuesday, March 15th at 11:00 hours.
