Bosnia and Herzegovina women's national senior football team held a press conference today at the FFBIH training center in Zenica head of tomorrow's qualifier with Serbia. Coach Samira Hurem, and team members Amela Krso and Marija Aleksic addressed the media.
Hurem: "We have a very important game on our hands, our team is playing well lately and we want to maintain that success. We had our last pre-match training session, and I can see the players are looking forward to the game.
Our women's football is at a high level nowadays and FFBIH has invested a lot in its development. About four years ago we were performance-wise far behind our tomorrow's opponents, but in the qualifiers we managed to beat them which is also a testament to the progress of women's football in our country."
Aleksic: "It's an important game which decides who ends up third in the group. This team always play to win, regardless of the opponent. We always give our maximum on the field, and this time it'll be no different. We practiced admirably in our training center and I'm sure we can play well tomorrow."
Krso: "This is our home and we want to show ourselves in the best light in front of our audience. We're ready to do our best in the game with Serbia, and I hope the audience comes in large numbers to support us, and in return we'll try to repay them."
The match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia is scheduled for tomorrow at 16:00 hours at the same venue.
