Bosnia and Herzegovina women's national "A" football team has gathered today in Zenica and performed a training session at the FFBIH training center.
Coach Samira Hurem: "The match against Ukraine will be a good test before qualifying game with Serbia where we want to win all three points. Ukraine is a strong opponent, the only problem was that we couldn't meet during the official FIFA date, meaning we couldn't count on players from abroad, except Milena Nikolic. However, this will be a very good check-up for younger girls on the secondary lineup. It's nice that FFBIH made all of this possible.
All players are healthy and ready, only Envera Hasanbegovic and Nikolina Dijakovic have minor injuries, but we believe they'll be ready for Saturday's match."
Midfielder Zerina Piskic: "We have a difficult game ahead of us, but it's also a solid test for us. The atmosphere in the team is great, and everything else for that matter. We're ready and I expect us to achieve a good result. Ukraine is certainly a quality opponent, but we showed before we can cope with anybody out there."
Team members will undergo two training sessions tomorrow, at 10:00 and 17:00 hours, while one session is scheduled for Friday 17:00 hours.
