The last in a series of football winter camps for youth teams has started today, and this time it was Bosnia and Herzegovina Women's Under-15 national team's turn to gather in Zenica. Coaches Samira Hurem, Ilija Lucic, Nikola Nikic and Zijo Tojaga will be working with these young girls.

Samira Hurem: "Starting today, we'll be working with young players under fifteen years of age. These are the girls that will go through cadet and junior teams to reach the "A" team and it's important that all of us are here in order to give our honest opinion. We have enough players and all of them have responded. They mainly came on the recommendation of coaches from their clubs and we expect them to show quality. Should we miss someone with talent, we have enough time to check the players around the country and we will continue to follow them. There are going to be regional gatherings of young football players from all over the country later this year, so everyone will have a chance to show their skills."

Nikola Nikic: "It's great that FFBIH made this gathering happen. We have worked with many talented players for the past fifteen days, and I have to say there's a lot of potential. We'll continue to monitor these young players, and by the time qualifications begin we should have a clear picture of what we have at our disposal."

Ilija Lucic: "Thirty girls arrived here. We'll work on their technique and stamina players through training sessions and one test match. Weather is good and we have really good working conditions. We hope these girls will justify our invitations and show some skills, and if they meet our criteria, some of them may already be on their way to the WU-17 national team."

Varvara Seslija, young player from SFK 2000: "I was invited to this camp last year and I'm glad to be back, that's a sign that I'm doing well. I hope to improve myself each year, and one day reach the "A" team just like my sister who is my role model in this sport by the way."

Alma Priganica from Salt City Tuzla: "This invitation means a lot to me, and I'm glad to be here. Now it's up to me to work and show what I can do, and maybe I'll get an official invitation to the cadet team. I'd love to be a part of the team in the future as well."

Two training sessions are scheduled for tomorrow.
