Bosnia and Herzegovina women's junior national team gathered last night in ethno village Stanisici, and today they had their first training session for the upcoming European Championship qualifying tournament.
Head coach Nikola Nikic says his players will do their best to finish first or second in the group: "Because their respective championships are well underway, the players came prepared to the gathering. We're expecting tough games because the group is quite difficult. Opponents are good, but we'll try to achieve the best result; there certainly won't be a lack of effort on our part. Sweden is the favorite team in the group, but we also possess the talent to secure the first two positions.
Mejrema Medic was injured during the last game, but she will join us today. We expect her to be ready for the tournament. Only Adisa Masic from Gradina is missing, but we'll replace her with Dzenita Mocevic from SFK 2000."
Next training session is scheduled for tomorrow at 14:00 hours, while the first match with Portugal will be played on Tuesday, October 18th in Stanisici.
