For the first time in club's history, FK Krupa juniors will play in the Bosnia and Herzegovina Youth Cup finals. Coach Nikola Vidovic believes the team has already made a big success:
"I expect a true football spectacle from the young and perspective players in the finals tomorrow. The fact that we've made it to the finals is already a great success to everyone, because we'll be playing against one of the best known and most successful clubs in the country, which has the most organized football school in the region. All of this makes our success even greater. Sarajevo is an absolute favorite in this match and we're aware of that. But we'll do our best and try to surprise our opponent. I hope a large number of people attends the game, because these young guys deserve it, and that everything will play out in the spirit of fair play."
Captain Vladimir Ilic also says that Sarajevo is the favorite team, but also that Krupa won't surrender:
"By reaching the finals we have accomplished our goal, but we certainly won't stop there, we'll try to surprise our opponents. One shouldn't waste words on FK Sarajevo, they are one of the best teams in the country. We leave the role of favorites to them, but we'll wait for our opportunity and hopefully manage to act quickly. We reached the Cup finals, and we have another 90 minutes to prove that we didn't come there by accident, we certainly won't go to Zenica waving a white flag. I invite the audience to come in large numbers and support these two teams and enjoy the football show. Let the best team win, and I hope it will be us on Tuesday."
The match between FK Sarajevo and FK Krupa will be played on May 9th at 17:00 hours in the FFBIH training center in Zenica.
