The President of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Vico Zeljković, attended an important meeting in Paris today, held at the invitation of FIFA's Director for European Member Associations, Elkhan Mammadov. This meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on different topics related to the further development of football, not only in Bosnia and Herzegovina but also within the broader European context.
During the meeting, key aspects were discussed, including infrastructural projects, youth player development, and the promotion of football at the local level. A strong collaboration was agreed upon between FIFA and FFBiH, aimed at further enhancing the football system in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Particular praise was given to FFBiH’s efforts within the FIFA Forward program, which enabled significant investments in reconstructing football pitches across Bosnia and Herzegovina. One of the successful projects was the "Football in Schools" initiative, which promoted the sport among young people and helped raise new generations of footballers. These achievements resulted in positive feedback from FIFA, who expressed great satisfaction with the progress and implementation of projects in our country.
The meeting in Paris laid the foundation for future projects and cooperation, aimed at further football development in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with FIFA continuing to monitor and support FFBiH in achieving its goals.
