Before 14.000 supporters, BIH's national team was defeated tonight in a friendly match against Egypt with 2:0.
Samir Muratovic, who had 23 appearances for national team, quit his football carrer tonight. He played for 11 minutes when he was replaced by Tino Susic. President Elvedin Begic handed him over some gifts before leaving the pitch.
There were no goals in the first half time, during which Fathi and Lulic had a chance to score for Egypt and BIH respectively.
Egyptians scored two times in second half time (Gedo 52', Salah 64').
„It's never good to lose a game“, said coach Safet Susic during the press conference. He congratulated Egyptians for their victory and added: „A well deserved win for Egypt. I knew it won't be easy, I knew their strengths. We had few good chances, but they were fresh, faster and more eager to win.“
He commented on debutants tonight: „Both of them showed their reliance, and Kolasinac had some problems with his injury, and that's the reason I pulled him out earlier. However his quality is unquestionable.“
He also commented on Dzeko's reactions during the game: „Dzeko didn't deserve to be booed like that, he gave so much for this team. Everyone can have a bad day. I was surprised, and perhaps he was too, so he reacted like that.“
