Tickets for the upcoming 2018 World Cup qualifying match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Greece, which will take place in Zenica on June 9th, will go on sale on Monday, May 29th at 09:00 hours. As usual, FFBIH had to make appropriate adjustments in organizational aspects and ticket distribution plan having in mind the match significance, stadium capacity, safety procedures, and security regulations.
The interest for this important match is immense, and we've already received a large number of requests for reservations. Unfortunately due to the limited capacity, it's clear there won't be enough space for everyone who wants to attend this much-anticipated event. FFBIH has decided to print 10.580 tickets. 5.465 of those will be distributed via Centrotours partner agency for the general public, and 5.115 according to previously determined categories and criteria (675 tickets will be reserved for Hellenic Football Federation and their fans). The prices are: western stand 40,00 KM, eastern stand 30,00 KM, and northern/southern stands 20,00 KM.
After careful analysis, safety assessments, and adhering to the latest UEFA and FIFA standards, FFBIH will continue to apply the following rules: tickets will be available at selected Centrotours office locations and their respective partner agencies; one person can buy up to two (2) tickets only after presenting the valid ID, which excludes minors; the same person won't be able to buy one or more tickets at different locations; and finally FFBIH will be able to track all the sales and intervene if necessary.
Having said that, FFBIH aims to provide transparent purchase for supporters and other legal partners, all in accordance with the realistic possibilities and stadium capacity, which are certainly lower than the actual demand. We urge our supporters to secure their tickets as soon as possible, because only devoted long-time fan groups and individuals will be able to directly buy the tickets. It's expected they will be sold out at retail in the first few days.
It's important to strictly comply with the instructions on the tickets regarding the correct entrance, row and seat numbers in a particular sector. Seats are clearly marked, and it's necessary to follow that.
In view of the strict rules imposed by FIFA and UEFA, as well as previous fines and penalties, we invite our loyal fans to help our national team on June 9th at the stadium Bilino Polje with thunderous cheering, and in a spirit of fair-play and respect to all players on the field.
Hopefully our audience will understand and tolerate the issues we'll facing with, because only together we can achieve the ultimate goal, and that is to qualify for the next World Cup in Russia.
