Before the UEFA President, Aleksander Čeferin, left of our country, a press conference was held at Sarajevo International Airport, where, beside him, the FF BH President, Elvedin Begić, addressed the media too.
The President Begić greeted the audience and said: “In addition to working meetings in the Federation, we had a visit to the BH Presidency, as well as to the BH Council of Ministers. We conducted constructive discussions that will give us certain visions in the coming period and will pave the way for the development of football and infrastructure in our country. Also, the relationship between UEFA and FF BH will be raised to an even higher level.”
Čeferin: “We knew that the FF BH was doing well and became a real European association. You have a promising team, but a poor infrastructure. This was the main topic of today's talks in the Federation, but also in the Presidency and the Council of Ministers. We clearly stated that we were ready to provide assistance, but it had to be done by the State and local communities too. We also received guarantees from the State institutions that they were ready to help in developing the infrastructure, because there is no good football without it.”
The UEFA President added the good cooperation of the European umbrella house of football with the Federation: “UEFA has excellent relationship with FF BH and our opinion is that there is a very good work there.”
