The topic of the meeting was primarily investing in the development of the football infrastructure, with a special emphasis on the reconstruction of 12 stadium pitches of Premier League clubs. It is a primary project, for which UEFA gave full support in the realization of the new leadership of the Federation. This will be followed by other projects announced by President Zeljković at today’s meeting.
At the initiative of President Zeljković, the UEFA President Čeferin and his closest associates will visit Bosnia and Herzegovina, where new projects and a plan for further investments in the football development in our country will be presented in more detail.
After the meeting, Vico Zeljković pointed out: “I thank President Čeferin and the Director of UEFA National Associations, Zoran Laković, for organizing this meeting where we had the opportunity to openly discuss and convey some of our observations and present new ideas and projects we plan in the future. It is already known that we have received the support of the European Football Federation for our project of building 12 pitches with hybrid grass, and today we specified the details of the complete project. The support of UEFA President Čeferin means a lot to us, the talks were friendly and constructive, so we will soon organize a meeting in our country.”
