Before the flight to Istanbul, the assistant coach of our “A” team, Gordan Ciprić, stated:

“After the preparatory part in Zenica, we are satisfied with the work of the players and their engagement. They responded with maximum professionalism to all the demands that were before them and are ready for the obligations that we expect in America. Regardless of our friendly encounters, a winning mentality should always be developed, as the result creates a good atmosphere. We are going to play every game on the result, although it is very important for us to get to know better each of these players and their qualities.”

Ciprić also commented on today’s UEFA Nations League draw:

“Northern Ireland and Austria are good opponents, but I think we can be ahead of them in our group.”

The players will spend this night in Istanbul and they will have a flight for Los Angeles tomorrow afternoon.
