Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina referees committee and competitions department held a meeting last weekend with the BH Telecom Premier League referees, and performed a regular fitness test.

During the meeting, the first eleven rounds of the BiH Championship and BiH Cup were analyzed, followed by a discussion on security and safety in the light of recent attempted attacks on the officials after the Siroki Brijeg vs. Sarajevo match.

They expressed a deep concern over this incident, as well as fear for the officials' physical integrity, especially during the events organized by NK Siroki Brijeg.

Premier League referees insist the match organizers and security authorities have to do everything in order to protect them, and enable them to professionally perform their duties. Should such incidents happen again, they'll be forced to seek protection from the international football organizations.
