Aleš Zavrl, the director of the UEFA licensing department, spent two days in Sarajevo visiting the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
During the visit, meetings with the FF BH management and the licensing department were held.
There were particular discussions about topics for the next licensing process of the BH Premier League clubs for the season 2018/2019. The meetings also analysed topics from the licensing process and further clarified the licensing procedures and decision from 2017/2018, the licensor structure, the decision-making process, benchmarking (financial data and analyses of the clubs’ financial documents), and other important topics for the licensing process.
The work of the FF BH club licensing administration was evaluated positively.
Some conclusions were made and new activities were proposed, as well as possible UEFA support to improve procedures and attendance at seminars and workshops organized for clubs and others stakeholders involved in the club licensing system.
On behalf of FF BH, meetings were attended by the general secretary Jasmin Baković, the executive board secretary Nihad Hodžić, the executive director of administration sector Adnan Džemidžić, the head of the clubs licensing department Nijaz Merdanović and the senior professional associate for licensing Lejla Krajnc.
