The BH National Team beat Estonia 2:1

The “A” national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina beat Estonia with 2:1 tonight at A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn in the last round of qualifications for the FIFA World Cup 2018.

There were not many opportunities in the first period of the game. Ibišević had the first one only in the 40th minute when he came out in front of the Estonian goalkeeper Askalu who defended the shot of our attacker. Just a minute later, Zukanović, from a favourable position, sends the ball over the goal after throwing the ball by Medunjanin.

Zejnov had the best chance for the home team in the 42nd minute, but he was not precise from just five meters after the breakthrough and centre shot of Anier.

Our team comes to advantage in the 48th minute. Begović sent the ball to the opponent's half, where the defenders of Estonia made mistakes, which was used by Izet Hajrović, who came alone in front of Askalu, and scored his fourth goal in the dress with national coat.

Klavan had a chance for Estonia in the 59th minute after the corner kick, but upon his head –shot, the ball went beside the goal.

In the 65th minute, instead of Ibišević, Edin Džeko entered the game, whom the France Football nominated for the “Golden Ball” yesterday.

Kodro was in opportunity in the 71st minute, after being perfectly played by Džeko, but his shot was defended by Askalu, and in the continuation of the action, Medunjanin sent the ball over the goal.

The Estonians equalize in 75th minute. Antonov shot greatly from 20 meters and hit the net of Asmir Begović for 1:1.

Džeko had a good try by his head in the 78th minute, after Medunjanin threw the ball, but Askal was once again at his task.

Luts shot strongly from the free kick in the 80th minute, but Begović intervened greatly.

Hajrović scored another goal in the 84th minute. Džeko played greatly to him, and Werder's player hit the opposite corner of the Estonian goal from the right-hand side for 1:2.

By the end of the match, there were no opportunities and the Dragons ended their qualifications with a victory.

In the last round matches of the qualifying group H, Belgium beat Cyprus with 4:0, and Greece was better than Gibraltar with the same result.

Belgium finished the qualifications in the first place with 28 points and qualified directly to the FIFA World Cup. Second-placed Greece won 19 points, while our national team is third with 17. Then follow Estonia with 11, Cyprus with 10 and Gibraltar without points.
