Today at the FK Mladost Stadium in Doboj-Kakanj, the U-18 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina played 0:0 with their peers from Macedonia in the second friendly match.

Alen Dejanović had a good chance already in the 7th minute, when he entered the opponent’s penalty area and shot on the right side in the goalkeeper David Denkovski. Two minutes later, Armin Imamović passed on the left side and sent the ball to the edge of the penalty area from where Đani Salčin kicked directly in the Macedonian goalkeeper.

BH had the best opportunity in the 31st minute. Stefan Naumceski stopped Ahmed Hasanović in the penalty area and a penalty shot was awarded to the BH team. Imamović took the responsibility, but from the 11 meters, he sent the ball besides the goal.

Imamović had a good try from twenty meters in the 38th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar this time.

The guests had the first chance in the 40th minute. Mario Naumoski made a corner kick from the right side, and the highst in the jump was Emir Skenderi who shot the crossbar. David Toševski tried from the goalkeeper area in the 43rd minute, but Matej Perković intervened well at the BH goal.

The Macedonian player Ensar Ljuma received the second yellow card for simulation in the penalty area in the 48th minute.

There were no major opportunities in the second half, so the result of 0:0 stayed.

The assistant coach of the BH U-18 team, Saša Krupljanin, said after the match: “We used this gathering mainly to check players from the Premier League, so we can say that they answered their tasks well. Today, in the first half hour of the game, we created several opportunities that we were supposed to realize. Later, the opponent threatened, so the draw is the real outcome of this match.”

The first match played in Vogošća two days ago, the BH team resolved with 1:0 in its favour.
