The CFM is an education program through which participants gain knowledge from various fields such as the organisation of football, strategic and performance management, operational management, football marketing and sponsorship, communications, the media and public relations, and event and volunteer management.

The BH Program Manager, Almir Murtezić, says that the organization of this event in our country is beneficial to the FF BH:

“Today the first two-day seminar was completed which was successful and very interesting for the participants. I’m glad that our Federation was honoured to organize such an important event. I personally went through this program in Hungary last year and the knowledge I gained there helped me to perform my business obligations. With the help of the CFM, all associations under the umbrella of UEFA go through the same educational program, and the participants gain very useful knowledge and improve their skills in all aspects related to the football organization. I wish all the participants a lot of happiness in their future work.”

The Project Manager Jérôme Berthoud says on the seminar:

“I must point out that I’m impresed with what we saw in these two days. Very constructive discussions were held this morning on the various programs organized by UEFA. Many interesting questions were raised and the participants presented interesting insights on the work of the organizations from which they come. It seems that this group has a potential and I look forward to working with them.”

Berthoud also has advice for all program participants:

“The first advice for participants is to start work as soon as possible, because they are expected to do a lot of work until the next seminar and it is very important to share information among themselves. That’s a richness of this program, that people from different spheres of football organizations exchange experiences with each other.”

One of the participants of the seminar is the Marketing Manager of FK Željezničar, Emir Dobrača, who brings positive impressions from the seminar:

“I want to thank UEFA, Football Federation of BH and FK Željezničar for giving me the opportunity to improve through the UEFA CFM program. I believe that more such programs are needed and that they can certainly contribute to the development of domestic football, through the acquisition of knowledge and experience of people from UEFA. Also, this is an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from other national associations, and exchange experiences. I look forward to the next seminar, and I hope that after completing the courses, we will successfully implement the knowledge to domestic clubs and associations.”

George Mirashvili from the Georgian Football Federation has a similar opinion:

“I only have the words of praise for this seminar. I am familiar with the program because FA Georgia organizes this kind of educational program, which is about domestic football. However, the UEFA CFM is organized at a higher level as it includes a broader aspect of a football organization. Coming here is a fantastic experience for me. The presentations and analyses that we met in these two days are excellent. We will have many benefits from this program and I believe that what we learn here will know how to use in the organizations we are members of.”

In addition to Bosnia and Herzegovina, which hosted this edition of UEFA CFM, the program participants come from Georgia, Croatia and Romania.
