After nearly two years, Sejad Salihović is again on the list of the best BH national team’s players. Salihović says about the team, emotions and expectations the following:

“I have always been talking that I did not finish the story with the national team, so I’m glad to be here. In football, it’s normal to change players, ones go away, others come, but there are still those with whom I played here. It’s not a big difference in approach and atmosphere compared to the period when I was standard.”

Salihović expects a tough game, but stresses that everything is in our hands:

“We know it will be a tough math. It is our last chance to be the second and it’s good that everything depends on us again. Everything is possible in football, every match is important, and everyone can win and lose. We play home, which is our advantage. We need to go out on the field, fight and with a support of our fans, I believe we can reach the result that suits us.”

Support from the stands is very important, as confirmed by Salihović:

“We know exactly what kind of fans we have. They are always with us, and I think that as a team we have to “throw our heads” on the pitch and they will know it best to reward it. The chance is there and we have to use it.”

Sejad Salihović has already played at “Grbavica” and conveys his experiences:

“I played at “Grbavica” several times and I can say that the atmosphere will be great for both us and our fans. I felt well there and it is good that beside Zenica, there is still a certain stadium where we can play. This, I think, was a good decision.”
