Two days remain until the first 2018 World Cup qualifying match against Estonia. The atmosphere at the FFBIH training center in Zenica is cheerful and relaxed, there's no anxiety or tension whatsoever, although everyone is aware of the importance of this match. Players Srdjan Grahovac and Armin Hodzic spent their break with the media representatives today.
Grahovac: "It's been said already, we know what kind of opponent we're up against. There's no time for relaxation in modern football, however the outcome of this match will mostly depend on ourselves. We worked really well, and now the coach will wrap up these preparations with a few finesses and tips and point out the opponent's weaknesses.
If we stand up to the task, we shouldn't have any problems. On the other hand, knowing today's football, if we relax too much, they will turn that in their favor and punish us."
Hodzic: "Since the first day we've been practicing well, training sessions are good, the atmosphere is top notch, and we all feel like a family. We have to prove on the field that we're the favorite team in this match, and I believe we'll manage to do that. I hope I'll get my cap, but we'll see, I'll be ready."
An official press conference for our team is scheduled for tomorrow at 17:30 hours (19:15 for Estonia's team), followed by a training session at 18:15 hours (20:00 for Estonia). Both training sessions will be opened for media representatives for the first 15 minutes.
