Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FFBIH) and Agency for the Prevention of Corruption and Coordination of the Fight against Corruption (APIK) representatives had a meeting today in Sarajevo, director Sead Lisak and assistant director Vladica Babic in front of APIK, while general secretary Jasmin Bakovic and competitions department director Elmir Pilav represented FFBIH.
The goal was to establish the cooperation between the APIK and FFBIH with a special emphasis on integrity. All participants undoubtedly agreed and expressed their commitment to the fight against corruption in all segments of BiH society.
Future cooperation will extend to the education and APIK's assistance in drafting the integrity plans and joint projects aiming to promote the prevention of corruption in sports.
In particular, it was agreed that as APIK's representatives should attend upcoming FFBIH seminars in February in order to educate delegates, referee observers, referees and assistants, club representatives on the subject of integrity and ethics with the aim of raising awareness and undertaking preventive measures to fight corruption.
