After young players from Siroki Brijeg were attacked after the Premier League match with Zeljeznicar, FFBIH strongly condemns this uncivilised act and expresses the concern over this outburst of violence. We in FFBIH expect legal authorities to soon identify and arrest those responsible so the similar incidents won't happen again.

By defending his colleagues from Siroki Brijeg, young player Dzenis Beganovic from Zeljeznicar should be commended for his brave act, and should be an example how any athlete should react in these kind of situations.

Football is the game which builds friendships and brings young people together regardless of club or any other affinities, and that's why we need broader social interventions if we're to eradicate deviant behaviors on the stadiums and beyond.
