Under president Elvedin Begic's supervision, an executive board meeting has been held today in Sarajevo. Members of the mediation and counseling board Dusko Bajevic, Faruk Hadzibegic and Sead Kajtaz, coach Safet Susic, technical director Piric and the rest of the FFBIH technical committee were also present at the assembly.
After detailed analysis of the recent match against Cyprus, technical committee and coach also shared their insights. At the end the following conclusions were made:
- Football federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina has provided exceptional conditions for players and staff ahead of Euro qualifications, which include training camp in Zenica, financial compensations, and regulations.
- Executive board is not satisfied with national team's performance as well as whole situation and atmosphere within the team.
- The board implies that this negative trend has to stop as soon as possible. Recent defeat by Cyprus' team significantly harmed the national team's reputation, and undermines all the efforts that have been made this year.
- In order to improve the atmosphere, performance and results, coach Susic, technical committee and counseling board are appointed to come up with a plan and necessary measures for upcoming qualifying games in order to achieve the ultimate goal: Euro 2016 in France.
Next assembly is scheduled for Friday, September 26th in Gradacac.
