The Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Referees Commitee held a meeting in Sarajevo today, where this body performed a refereeing analysis of the BHT Premier League Round 6.
The Committee decided that referee Vladimir Bjelica, who officiated the match between FK Sloboda and FK Zeljeznicar, will be suspended for the remainder of the season because of the serious refereeing ommissions.
The other games were carried out in accordance with the regulations.
Following this session, the Committee held a meeting with the BHT PL A-list referees, where the referees were once again reminded of the importance of the BiH Championship and Cup finals. Despite the evident flaws in the refereeing, the Committee found that they are result of fatigue and/or inadequate preparation for the match, not intentional.
Also, in order to bring the transparency and regularity of the competition to a higher level, the Refereeing Committee in cooperation with the Sports Department reached the verdict to include special observers at certain matches.
