The 32nd round of the 2016/17 Bosnia and Herzegovina Youth Premier League was played today. After defeating Olimpic 4-0 this afternoon (Dzindo 36', Sabanadzovic 41', Jusufi 72 and Subo 79'), Zeljeznicar's juniors won the championship title one round before the end, with six points ahead of the nearest competitor FK Sarajevo.
Head coach Admir Adzem is pleased with the results this year: "A great season is behind us. We've been regularly achieving good results, which is very important. This is our third title in the last four years and I think it's a great success. Once again we proved that we work well and raise great players. I hope we'll continue doing so in the future. These boys have shown they can be counted on, and we'll certainly watch some of them in the senior team."
Defender Amar Besirevic: "I'm happy for winning the state championship. We played very well this season and we're deservedly in the first place. We have one more round until the end of the championship, after which we're going to have a brief rest. After that, the preparations for the Youth Champions League await us where I hope we'll play a significant role."
After the match, FFBIH executive board member Dragan Kulina and competitions committee vice president Milorad Lale awarded the winners with trophies and medals.
