Young football players of Bosnian origin living abroad have successfully finished a three-day football camp at the FFBIH training center in Zenica today. Coaches Toni Karacic, Sakib Malkocevic and Zoran Erbez had the opportunity to see new players in action, and some of them could wear BIH colors in the future.

Toni Karacic: "It's good that FFBIH continued with this project and as a result, we had players from USA come here besides players from Europe. It's important we met them in person and showed them the work program that we've have prepared. It's early to tell if some of them meets our criteria, but we'll continue to follow their work. This was a good, well-designed event."

Sakib Malkocevic: "It's not the first time that we've gathered the players from abroad. There's quality and potential here, and some of the players drew attention to themselves. I wouldn't be surprised if two or three of them joined us in the friendlies against Montenegro, just to double-check them and make sure they can officialy join the team."

Zoran Erbez: "The guys were working hard in meeting our goals. Through training, we've tried to come up with a clearer picture of these young men and their skills. They showed a certain quality and I'm sure some of the boys who were at this camp will get an invitation to the national team. It's important to keep on with the project and maintain track of young players from the diaspora,  and in the meantime we'll continue monitoring them and their games."
