Second Place for BiH Pioneers at Josip Katalinski-Škija Tournament
The 13th International Memorial Tournament "Josip Katalinski-Škija" concluded today at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica.
The Bosnia and Herzegovina national under-15 team defeated the Sarajevo and East Sarajevo team 4:1 today at the FFBiH Training Center in Zenica, in the semifinal of the 13th “Josip Katalinski-Škija” Memorial Tournament.
Memorial Tournament Participants Pay Tribute to Legendary Footballer
Before the start of the 13th International "Josip Katalinski-Škija" Memorial Tournament, representatives of the participating teams visited the grave of Josip Katalinski in Sarajevo this morning. Katalinski is regarded as one of the greatest football players in the history of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the former Yugoslavia.
The international memorial tournament "Josip Katalinski-Škija", featuring national under-15 teams, will mark its thirteenth edition this year.
Despite a 2:1 defeat in the friendly match with Slovenia, the impressions from the coaching staff and the Dragons' locker room were generally positive.
