We recorded the first shot at the goal only in the 17th minute of the match. Antonio Ivančić took a corner kick from the right, and Josip Ćorluka’s header was stopped by Velež goalkeeper Osman Hadžikić. In the 31st minute, Zrinjski played a nice move on the left side, but after Mariju Ćuže’s cross, Mario Tičinović’s shot was blocked. A minute later, Tičinović once again attempted a shot from 18 meters, but Osman Hadžikić made an excellent save and deflected the ball into the corner. In the 42nd inute, after a corner kick by Mario Tičinović, Nemanja Bilbija shot wide.
