In a rematch of last year's finals, defending champion Sarajevo will face Sloboda from Tuzla.
Sarajevo's coach, Ante Bratić, stated before the game: "First of all, congratulations to Sloboda for reaching the finals. They are a team to respect, and we expect a tough match. We’re the favorites and must take on that role. However we have to prove ourselves on the field, and I believe the trophy will stay in Sarajevo."
Sloboda's coach, Denis Karić, added: "We’re facing a very demanding match against the top-tier team from our league. They have previously won trophies and have experience. We recently played against them in the league, and I can say that we were pretty equal. We hope for a good match and to give our maximum effort. We want to bring the Cup trophy to Tuzla for the first time."
The "Bordo team" eliminated Troglav 1918 4-1 in the quarter-finals, and in the semi-finals, they were also better than Zvijezda 09 3-0. On the other hand, Sloboda eliminated their opponents in the quarter-finals and semi-finals after better penalty shootouts. First, they beat Široki Brijeg 5-4 (0-0), and then Borac Banja Luka 4-2 (1-1) in the quarter and semi-finals respectively.
The match kicks off at 17:00; live broadcast will be streamed via the official FFBiH YouTube channel.
The match will be officiated by Ernis Džemidžić from Goražde, assisted by Dejan Stjepanović from Banja Luka and Jure Musa from Čitluk. The fourth referee is Dragan Todić (Doboj), Ferid Čovčić (Goražde) will perform the match delegate duties, and the referee observer is Duško Vujičić (Foča).
