In the final stage of the most massive competition, Sarajevo and Široki Brijeg were placed, and the “Burgundy” will be a host in the first-leg match.
The first-leg match is scheduled for 8th May at the Asim Ferhatović-Hase Stadium in Sarajevo, and the second-leg one is at the “Pecara” in Široki Brijeg on 15.052019.
The sports director of Sarajevo, Emir Hadžić, said after the draw:
“We cannot say that playing the first-leg match on the home field is neither advantage nor deficiency. In the quarter-finals, we played with Zrinjski which competes with us for the title. We were also host in the first-leg match, and we went on, so that does not mean anything. We enter each match with the intention of winning and so will be this time.”
Dalibor Šilić, the sports director of Široki Brijeg, is pleased that the re-match will be played at the “Pecara”:
“We wished the first-leg match to be played in Sarajevo and to try to lift the trophy in front of our fans. We’ll see if we can succeed in that. It will be very difficult, because Sarajevo has an excellent team and is in good shape. Matches of Široki Brijeg and Sarajevo have always been interesting. We will do everything in our power to get to the trophy.”
