France-Bosnia and Herzegovina 1:1

Sarajevo joined Borac in the Cup final

Sarajevo hosted Tuzla City in the semi-finals of the BH Cup today at the “Asim Ferhatović-Hase” Stadium with a one-goal advantage from the first-leg match.

The “Burgundy” team won again, this time with the result 3:1.

The home team had the first serious opportunity only in the 28th minute, but Aleksandar Pejović’s shot from ten meters diagonally from the left side was defended by Azir Muminović.

Tuzla returned in the 45th minute, when the shot of Badara Badji was defended by Vladan Kovačević, and the ball bounced to Ajdin Nukić who hit the outside of the net.

In the additional time of the first half, after a cross of Slobodan Milanović from a free kick, Hrvoje Miličević tried to head from a favourable position, but he was not precise.

The guests scored in the 55th minute and thus annulled the advantage of Sarajevo from the first match. After a great action, Nermin Crnkić from the right sent the ball to the five-meter area for Goran Brkić, who was precise for 0:1.

Pejović had another good attempt from the edge of the penalty area in the 66th minute, but Muminović defended his shot again.

Sarajevo equalizes the score in the 76th minute. Krste Velkoski sent the ball from his own half of the pitch to the opponent’s penalty area for Jasmin Mešanović, who bypassed Muminović and hit the net.

Two minutes later – a complete reversal. With the assistance of Zinedin Mustedanagić, the goal was scored by Anel Hebibović with a precise diagonal shot from the right side.

In the 84th minute, Hebibović passed well on the right side and sent the ball to the left for Velkoski who scored the third goal for Sarajevo and set the final score of the match.

The final match between Borac and Sarajevo will be played on 27th May at the FF BH Training Centre in Zenica.
