In the first 45 minutes, both teams created one chance each. The home team threatened in the 14th minute, but the shot of Nermin Crnkić from ten meters was defended by Vladan Kovačević. Sarajevo retaliated in the 27th minute when, Matthias Fanimo passed on the right side and played a return ball to the five-meter area for Jasmin Mešanović, whose shot was blocked by the defenders of FK Tuzla City.
The guests came to the advantage in the 56th minute. After a cross from the left side of Slobodan Milanović, Hrvoje Barišić headed the ball into the penalty area where Fanimo managed very well and shot accurately for 0:1. After the goal, both teams created several opportunities, but the result did not change.
The second-leg match is scheduled for 21st April at the “Asim Ferhatović-Hase” Stadium in Sarajevo.
