The maroon team defeated Široki Brijeg 4:0, thanks to a brace from Aldin Turkeš, a goal from Vladan Bubanja, and an own goal by Filip Taraba.
Sarajevo took the lead as early as the 4'. Francis Kyeremeh delivered a cross, Nihad Mujakić headed it down, and Aldin Turkeš scored it against the visiting side. Turkeš added his second goal in the 14', pouncing on a rebound after Vladan Bubanja's shot.
In the 54', Sarajevo made it 3:0. Mihael Kuprešak crossed from the right, Bubanja charged onto the ball and beat the visiting goalkeeper. Nine minutes later, after several dribbles inside Široki’s box, Kuprešak took a shot, and in an attempt to block it, Filip Taraba deflected the ball into his own net.
The second leg is set to take place in seven days at the Pecara stadium in Široki Brijeg.
