On the way to the finals, Banja Luka eliminated Sloboda Tuzla after a better penalty shootout, while they beat Zrinjski 3:1 in the semi-finals.

Borac’s junior coach, Zoran Dragišić, expects ahead of the final match:

“I think we deservedly reached the finals after demanding matches in which we were better than Sloboda with penalty kicks, and after the victory over Zrinjski, which is a team from the top of the table of the Premier Youth U-19 League. It gives us great pleasure, to us in the technical staff, the players and the whole club that we will play in the finals with Sarajevo. I am sure that it will be a football holiday, because the teams that deserved to be in the finals with their engagement are playing. We respect the opponent, but we believe we can win the trophy.”

Sarajevo was convincing in its two Cup matches. They beat Krupa with 7:0 and Široki Brijeg with 5:0.

Vučina Šćepanović, coach of the Sarajevo U-19 team, said:

“We are in the game for the trophy on two fronts, in the league and in the Cup. Our expectations are the highest. By wearing a “burgundy” T-shirt, it brings a greater motive, but also the result imperative to be at the top, to win and win trophies. It will not be easy, because Borac is a quality team. We are going to compete; we believe in our team and we hope for the best.”

The final match of the Youth Cup of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Borac-Sarajevo, is scheduled tomorrow at 16:30 h at the BH FF Training Centre in Zenica. Admission for the audience is free, and you can watch the match live on the official BH FF YouTube channel.
