The reigning BiH champions gained a player advantage as early as the 7th minute when LASK goalkeeper Jörg Siebenhandl was sent off for handling the ball outside the penalty area. Despite having more possession and opportunities in the first half, Borac couldn’t break the deadlock.
The second half saw the visitors take the lead; In the 51st minute, Valon Berisha scored from a counterattack with an assist from Filip Stojković, making it 0:1. Borac continued pressing and equalized in the 82nd minute when Đorđe Despotović headed in a superb cross from Zoran Kvržić. The comeback was completed seven minutes later when Dino Skorup struck a precise shot from the edge of the box, securing Borac's victory.
