Following a 1:1 draw in Banja Luka, the match in Vienna also ended 1:1 after the regular 90 minutes, with Borac concluding their European journey only after extra time, during which they once again delivered a commendable performance.
The home team had the initiative and more goal-scoring chances in the first half, but the score remained unchanged. Borac took the lead in the 66th minute when Stefan Savić broke down the right side and passed the ball to Sandi Ogrinec, who scored from around 13 meters for 0:1. However, just four minutes later, Dion Beljo equalized.
In the 6th minute of extra time, Beljo assisted Louis Schaub, who placed the ball past goalkeeper Filip Manojlović for the final 2:1.
