In the first half, Sarajevo had several opportunities, but they did not manage to shake the opponent’s net. Mirko Oremuš shot next to the goal after a cross by Halid Šabanović in the 5^th minute, and Matthias Fanimo neither had luck in the 19^th minute when he hit the frame of the opponent’s goal. Fanimo was fouled for a penalty in the 29^th minute, but the goalkeeper of the Moldovan team defended the shot of Krsto Velkoski from the penalty spot.

The team of Goran Sablić continued to have a field initiative, but there were no great opportunities and the match ended without goals.

Sarajevo played today’s match with a line-up: Adnan Kanurić, Halid Šabanović, Amer Dupovac, Numan Kurdić, Selmir Pidro, Mirko Oremuš, Andrej Đokanović, Anel Hebibović (68^th minute, Đani Salčin), Krste Velkoski (69^th minute, Dal Varešanović), Matthias Fanimo ( 86^th minute, Kenan Dervišagić), Tino Sušić (90^th+1minute, Tarik Ramić).

The second-leg match is scheduled for 15^th July at 21:00 h at the “Asim Ferhatović-Hase” Stadium in Sarajevo.
