The seminar was opened by the BH FF vice-president, Irfan Durić, who greeted the attendees with an appropriate speech.
During these three days, situations from last season’s matches were analysed, and former referees and members of the Committee for Referees and Refereeing gave lectures on the following topics: “Handballing”, “Offside”, “Fouls and Unsportsmanlike Conduct”, “Teamwork”, “Simulation” and “Decisions in the Penalty Area”.
The guest lecturer at the seminar was former FIFA referee Alan Snoddy from Northern Ireland - a mentor for the UEFA referee convention for the BH FF, who expressed his satisfaction with the organization of the seminar, while professor Munir Talović gave a presentation on the topic “Physical Preparation and Injury Prevention”.
The referees also performed appropriate fitness tests, where ten did not pass the standards, and in accordance with the Regulations on Referees and Refereeing, remedial testing will be organized for them.
All participants of the seminar successfully passed the test on the Laws of the Football Game, as well as the video test with situations from matches.
Prospective referees from the first leagues of the FF FBH and FA RS also attended the seminar.
