The seminar discussed the financial criteria in the licensing process of m:tel Premier League clubs for the 2021/22 season for UEFA and domestic competitions.

In addition to the representatives of the clubs of our elite football competition, the seminar was attended by a certified auditor from a certified auditing company, who would audit the financial statements of the clubs in the upcoming licensing season.

Experts from the Club Licensing Administration presented to the participants of today’s seminar in detail all the requirements they would have to meet from the financial criteria in the licensing process, based on practical examples from previous seasons.

The certified auditor informed the clubs representatives about the technical details of the audit of the financial statements in the clubs, which would be conducted within the set time frame. Also, the representatives of the clubs presented their problems that they encountered when fulfilling the obligations of the given financial criteria for club licensing.

It was emphasized that the goals of the Federation and football clubs were to improve all aspects of business, especially financial, with consistent application of the Licensing Regulations and other regulations related to this area, and maximum respect and implementation of all obligations between clubs-players-employees.

In the next period, another seminar will be organized regarding the club licensing, and it will cover topics from the administrative, legal, sports and infrastructure criteria.
