During their two-day stay in Sarajevo, FIFA representatives Bhaveshan Moorghen (FIFA Senior Football Technology Strategy Manager) and Michael Bailey (FIFA VAR Project Manager) assessed that FFBiH has met all requirements to begin using VAR technology in domestic football.

This was a demanding and extensive project. Significant resources, effort, and time were invested in the entire education process. VAR technology will help identify and correct obvious errors, and highlight important situations the referees might have missed.

By adopting the VAR concept, FFBiH officials have once again demonstrated openness to new ideas and trends, and the desire to eliminate referee errors, significantly impacting the quality of refereeing.

The introduction of this technology is part of FFBiH's strategic program and the second major project, following the construction of hybrid turf pitches.
