After a 0:0 draw two days ago, the teams drew again, this time 1:1 (0:1).
Following the opening 45 minutes, the visitors held a narrow lead even though the BiH team created more scoring chances. Anes Mehmedović fired from seven meters in 12', but Montenegro goalkeeper Bogdan Borilović tipped the ball out for a corner. Benjamin Kadirić tried from around fifteen meters in 21', but wasn’t accurate. The same player won the ball on his own half in 27', passed two Montenegro players and went one-on-one with the opposing goalkeeper, but his shot went wide. The visitors punished those misses in 31' when, after a counterattack, Marko Popović struck accurately from about ten meters to send the ball past Haris Mujanić.
In the second half, Mehmedović had a solid attempt from a free kick from about twenty meters in 59', but the ball went wide of the left post. Montenegro threatened in 64' when Jovan Anđić shot from a good position, however Mujanić reacted brilliantly. Another chance for Dubravko Orlović’s team followed in 70' after a cross from the left, as Ajdin Raščić headed toward goal, but the ball hit the post.
After a corner from the left in 77', Ante Šunjić reacted best inside the penalty area and scored for 1:1. The same player had another opportunity following a corner in 83', but this time the visitors had more luck and the score remained unchanged.
Head coach Dubravko Orlović sent out the following lineup: Haris Mujanić (77' Patrik Kovač), Darko Savić (62' Kenan Vrban), Daris Dizdarević, Božidar Dimitrić (77' David Mišović), Rijad Telalović (67' Anan Baltić), Anes Mehmedović (77' Luka Soldo), Jovan Ćulum (46' Leon Oroz), Ajdin Raščić, Benjamin Kadirić (46' Ivan Jelić), Luka Vulin, Leon Bogović (62' Ante Šunjić).
