After the tournaments of the first qualifying rounds for the European U-17 Championship ended, a confirmation arrived from UEFA today that the cadet national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina, as one of the 4 best third-ranked teams, achieved qualification for the elite round.
Nermin Šabić’s team finished the qualifications in third place in Group 7, behind Switzerland and Finland, and ahead of Gibraltar.
Apart from our national team, the national teams of Hungary, Wales and Latvia also achieved qualification for the elite round as the best third-ranked teams.
The draw for the elite qualifying round will be held on 8th December at 11:00 h in Nyon.
