Our U-17 team also played a training match with the Čelik cadets in which they achieved a 2:1 victory.
Goals for the BH team were scored by Jahja Bajrić in the 75th and Alen Aličehajić in the 82nd minute.
Bajrić scored a goal by head after a corner-kick from the right made by Hamza Haždiavdić. The same player assisted at a free kick from about 30 meters to Aličehajić who got the best on the edge of the opponent’s five-meter area and sent the ball into the net.
Head coach Nermin Šabić said of this gathering:
“We have no objection to the work of these players; they give their utmost in training sessions. However, we have problems, because they are not in a competitive rhythm, in reason that they do not have enough playing time in their clubs. This was also felt in the match against Čelik. Their physical preparation is also not at the level it should be. We still have time until the qualifying matches that await us in the autumn and we’ll see what else we have available. The problem is that the players born in 2004, who will be playing in these qualifications, do not have a lot of playing minutes in their clubs because in addition to one-year older players.”
