In the first two rounds of the tournament, the BH cadets beat Gibraltar 6:1 while they played tie 1:1 with Finland and took 3rd place in the group with 4 points. Switzerland is first with 7, while Finland is in second place with 5 points. Gibraltar finished the tournament last with three defeats.
The U-17 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has a chance to qualify for the elite qualifying round as one of the 4 best third-placed teams. The ranking of the third-placed will be known when the tournaments of all qualifying groups end in November this year.
