Admir Raščić’s elected representatives travelled to Odžak today, and tomorrow they will travel to Hungary. In the upcoming tournament, the head coach will not be able to count on Nino Hodžić and Benjamin Džananović, and subsequently Sanin Mešić from Željezničar was invited to the team.
Despite the two absences, the head coach Raščić welcomes the start of the tournament with optimism.
“I believe that the team is ready for the upcoming qualifying matches, despite certain personnel problems we had. Namely, two players are not available for us due to problems of an administrative nature, i.e., health problems, however, we have adequate substitutions for those who are absent and we are ready to face with the first match”, says Admir Raščić and adds:
“When it comes to the preparation period that is behind us, the boys worked very well, everything went well. Today in Odžak and tomorrow in Hungary, we have one more training session each, which is a total of five joint training sessions, and that gives us a real reason to look forward to the first-round match against the Bulgarian national team with optimism. I want to emphasize that the atmosphere among the players is excellent, the boys are giving their best and I believe that we will transfer that positive atmosphere to the pitch as well.”
The first round of the tournament is scheduled for 25th October. The BH cadets will play their match against their peers from Bulgaria at 13:00 h, and at 16:00 h, Hungary and Andorra will play.
