The first half didn’t bring too much excitement. The BH team had several unsuccessful attempts from distance, while the guests had more ball in possession, but without real opportunities.
In the other 45 minutes, Nermin Šabić’s team had more than a game and created several chances. The Slovaks had one good attempt with a header from the five-meter area in the finish of the match, but the goalkeeper Arman Šutković was up to the task.
After the match, head coach Šabić said: “We played against a quality team, which showed that, especially in the first half. During that period of the game, they created certain problems for us in the middle. We played much better and more aggressively in the second half. We dominated and had control of the game. We also made a few good chances, but in the end, we almost received a goal. However, when everything is added and subtracted, we can be satisfied with what we saw in today’s match.”
The second match between the cadet national teams of BH and Slovakia is scheduled for 16th
