First place for Lokomotiva in the tournament in Brčko

Juniors better than Albania

The U-19 team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated their peers from Albania today in a friendly match in Međugorje by a score of 2:0.

The goals for the BH team were scored by Dal Varešanović in the 8th and Elmin Herić in the 63rd minute.

The head coach Slaven Musa said about the matches with Albania:

“We are pleased with these checks, because the matches were like qualifying ones with a lot of pace and charge. In the first match, both we and the Albanians had opportunities even though it was ended without goals. We scored two nice goals today and won. We can be satisfied with the results of this team action and I must point out that we had excellent working conditions in Međugorje.”

Musa also added:

“We will have two more checks before qualifications and I believe we have a good team. We have three players in the U-21 team, Đokanović, Stanić and Nikolić and we can be happy that players from this generation are already competing for the U-21 national team. Apart from them, we could not count on Malik Memišević because of his injury. With four of them, we will be even stronger and I believe we will be ready for qualifications.”

Today, the BH juniors opposed the Albanians with the following squad:

Luka Kačavenda, Ajdin Hasić (71st minute, Mirza Hasanbegović), Dal Varešanović (46th minute, Vedad Kovač), Amar Dedić, Ajdin Mujanović (46th minute, Josip Radoš), Vladimir Arsić (46th minute, Adrian Leon Barišić), Amar Jašarević (62nd minute, Edvin Cimirotić), Gabrijel Čoko (57th minute, Vedad Radonja), Sedad Subašić (62nd minute, Elmin Herić), Amer Hebibović (57th minute, Silvio Ilinković), Melvin Bajrović.
