Juniors successful in the second match against Montenegro

The U-19 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina defeated today in Podgorica peers from Montenegro with the result 4:2.

The BH team gained the advantage in the 12th minute through Ivan Bašić who shot accurately from over 20 meters from the left side.

After a corner in the 32nd minute, the ball came to the goalkeeper area to Nikša Šilić, who was accurate for 0:2.

Hamza Gasal had a good opportunity in the 41st minute, but from a good position on the left side of the opposing penalty area he shot besides the goal.

The home team was the closest to score the goal in the first half in the 44th minute, when Petar Tadić hit the crossbar from a free kick.

Only a minute later, Šilić entered the penalty area of the Montenegrin team and hit the goalpost diagonally from the right side.

In the first minute of the second half, Montenegro reduced the advantage of the BH team through Dejan Perović, who was precise from the five-meter area after a cross from the left.

In the 51st minute, Bašić once again hit the net from a distance for 1:3 in favour of the U-19 national team of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Faruk Duraković tried to score from the edge of the penalty area in the 56th minute, but the ball went next to the goal.

Amar Cerić used a misunderstanding in the defence of Montenegro in the 80th minute and scored the fourth goal for our national team.

The host had a good opportunity in the 90th minute, but Strahinja Manojlović intervened excellently after the opponent’s shot from only five meters.

Montenegro reduced the advantage of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the additional time after the own goal of Ajdin Jusupović, who turned a cross from the right into his own net.

This was the second match of these national teams, and in the first match played on Tuesday, Montenegro won 1:0.
