Malkočević feels better today and has come to Zenica to be with a new generation of cadets who perform at the UEFA Development Tournament.

“It’s nice to be here after a long time and after an ugly period, which I hope is behind me. By agreement with the people from the Federation, I came to this tournament to accompany a new generation of players preparing for a qualifying tournament to be held in Finland. It’s a little unusual, but it’s really nice here and this is a wonderful day for me when I met a lot of friends. I hope that I will be with the team more often”, says the popular Sok.

After today’s match with Gibraltar, Sakib Malkočević commented on the BH team:

“This team is only being formed and there is still a lot of work around it. Previous generations set the ladder high, and the former team unfortunately failed to qualify for the European Championship. However, we must be satisfied with the elite round. From a small country like ours, it’s harder to reach a big competition. I hope this generation will continue to produce great results.”
