Assistant coach Mario Ivanković says about the preparations of the national team:

“Everything is going according to plan for now. After Gazibegović joined the team yesterday, we continue with the only goal, to be better prepared for the match against Montenegro in these few training sessions. It is true that we do not have much time and that this is a new team, but we try to get to know each other as soon as possible, not only on, but also off the pitch.”

Ivanković also commented on the national team of Montenegro:

“The opponent is a quality team composed of players who play in big clubs. We know what we want in this match, and that is to go for a positive result with the guys who are full of desire and self-proof in the national jersey.”

National team player Jusuf Gazibegović enters the new qualification cycle with a lot of self-confidence:

“The atmosphere at the preparations is great. The guys are ready. There are new faces here, but we fit in quickly and get along great. I want us to continue where we left off with the last generation. I believe that, when we play the best we can, then we can deal with the biggest teams. We will try to make a great result, because we have quality. We have to fight in every match starting from Montenegro on Saturday, and so on until the end of the qualifications.”
